Looking to transform their backyard into an oasis, our client turned to PCL.

With our expertise, they opted for an exciting array of additions, including new decking and a poured concrete pad for their hot tub.

To ensure everything was up to code, we even installed conduit for the hot tub. Elevating the space, we crafted custom deck stairs and stamped a stunning concrete patio.

The result? A backyard that's as functional as it is beautiful - perfect for entertaining and outdoor living.

PROBLEM:

The client had just purchased a home in the meadows community in Ferndale Washington after the home sat on the market for too long. They realized that the reason the home didn’t sell was because the landscape was bare and didn’t have a fence.

The client has a grandkid that they take care of often and wanted to have a space for the family to enjoy outside. They knew they wanted a concrete patio and fencing to be able to increase their outdoor living space and function ability of the home.

SOLUTION:

After consulting with the client at their home, our team had ongoing conversation with the client and communicated conceptual ideas and drawings. The proposal included 170’ of black hog panel custom fencing, a cobblestone bed alongside the sidewalk, a concrete patio surrounded by cobblestone, and another 6’ privacy fence around the patio to create a private oasis feeling.

RESULTS:

The clients were so happy with the work they have been overwhelmed with compliments from the neighbors.

PROBLEM:

The client recently purchased the home after relocating from Texas. They had one goal in mind when it came to their backyard. Increase the space by creating a wall, and plant trees to give privacy between them and the traffic to the local mailbox. Their backyard was basically a dangerous cliff, and they hated to go into their backyard.

SOLUTION:

Initially we proposed to build the wall as seen in the photos. After the wall was built, we were going to plant the arborvitae trees to separate the yard from the traffic, and than we haulted the project because we all thought there could be more of a better implementation of an outdoor living space with a good design. That is when we put together a hand drawing concept for the client. The drawing resulted in an amazing project that entailed custom poured patio pavers, a black hog panel fence, gravel that surrounds a firepit, raised veggie beds, blueberries and raspberries, and a nice perfect size patch of grass.

RESULTS:

The clients are to this day ecstatic of their backyard! They stated that before we were finished, they dreaded looking out their back door patio, or even sitting on their back deck, and now they want to be out there all the time.

Problem

The client was looking to increase his outdoor living space and make better utilization of his pathways. In addition, he wanted to create a personalized “oasis” in between his two garages. Easy maintenance of everything was also a top priority.

Solution

After meeting with the client we discussed his needs, PCL developed a plan centered around installing flat pavers and a fence.

Using pavers made from only the best-quality materials in order to last for years and resist erosion and cracking, PCL got to work on the first part of the project. The flat surfaces of the pavers, along with our care to make sure they aligned evenly, ensured safety and ease of use.

After finishing the installation of the pavers, PCL constructed a fence for the oasis. This provided the client two distinct benefits: privacy and a sense of enclosure and intimacy.

Results

The client couldn’t have been happier. Now he has a custom-tailored outdoor space for reading books and relaxing. Additionally, it’s a place where he can meditate and generate good ideas. And PCL delivered another successful project for a Whatcom County client!

Problem

Due to a lack of proper ventilation in the attic, a major remodeling project became necessary. Because moisture had been able to build up, damaging mold grew in the better half of the attic and in two bathrooms. After surveying the damage and determining the cause, Puget Construction and Landscape set about providing a solution.

Solution

Puget Construction and Landscape performed complete renovations of both bathrooms. To prevent the problem from occurring again, we also performed three additional tasks. One was replacing the insulation in the attic and the bathrooms. Another was installing new soffit vents and baffles outside to improve ventilation for the attic. Finally, we put up new gutters to ensure proper drainage and reduce the chance of water pooling up against siding or on the roof, which can lead to structural damage and leaks.

Results

The homeowners were very happy with the repairs and renovations, and they were excited over having two completely remodeled bathrooms. In addition, they were relieved that Puget Construction and Landscape had not only repaired the damage but had also figured out what caused the problem in the first place and that we took steps to make sure it wouldn’t happen again. As always, PCL Whatcom put the comfort and security of its customers first and foremost. We’ve been a regionally trusted name in landscaping, interior and exterior construction, and seasonal services for residential and commercial properties for years now, and we look forward to keeping that record going strong.

Problem

Our client needed to clean and repaint his house in order to sell it for the best possible price. Puget Construction and Landscape were given the task to improve the house’s appearance by pressure washing the outside of the home, cleaning all of the walls, and repairing them.

Solution

Puget Construction and Landscape solved the problem of a dull and dirty exterior of the house by pressure washing the outside of the home and thoroughly cleaning and repainting the inside of the house. The new coat of paint was able to go on evenly and beautifully because the surface of the home was extra clean from being pressure washed. The new color was vibrant and gave the home a fresh look, making it ready to hit the real estate market with a splash.

Results

The client was ecstatic to see the new look of their home. They exclaimed that the home looked like a brand new property. The home now has added curb appeal and a modern and trendy color scheme. Plus all crevices and cracks have been thoroughly cleaned so the new owners do not have to worry about wood rotting, critters, or cobwebs and leaves getting stuck. This level of pressure washing will alleviate the current homeowner from costly repairs once the house is inspected and appraised and will make the house move-in ready, making the selling process a lot easier on both the client and the new owner. Puget Construction and Landscape is proud to offer full-service landscaping, construction and painting, and pressure washing services.
